Adrian Holmes (born March 31, 1974) is a Canadian actor known for his work on the television series 19-2, for which he won a Canadian Screen Award in 2017. He has also portrayed Uncle Phil in the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reboot Bel-Air and Robert April in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. Holmes was born in Wales and moved to Vancouver, Canada, at the age of five. He studied nursing at Langara College before pursuing his acting career. Holmes has appeared in various television shows including Smallville, True Justice, and Arrow. His notable role is Nick Barron in the English Language version of 19-2, for which he received critical acclaim and awards.
