Adriyan Rae

Adriyan Rae is an American actress and medical laboratory scientist. She was born in Seaford, Delaware, and raised by her single mother. Rae is of Black American, German, Native American, and Venezuelan descent. Before pursuing acting, she was part of a AAU Junior Olympic Games team in track and field and field hockey. Rae holds degrees in physician assistant studies and medical laboratory science from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, and she is professionally certified in medical laboratory science. Since 2016, Rae has appeared in various television series. She gained recognition for her role as Elida in the Syfy drama Vagrant Queen and currently co-stars as Gianna Mackey in the NBC drama Chicago Fire.
