Afa Anoa'i
Afa Anoa'i, also known as Afa Amituana'i Anoa'i, is a retired Samoan-American professional wrestler and wrestling manager. Born on November 21, 1942, in Western Samoa, he later relocated to San Francisco, California with his family. At 17, Anoa'i enlisted in the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps. After leaving the Corps, he trained as a wrestler under Rocky Johnson, Peter Maivia, and Kurt Von Steiger. He had his debut match in 1971 in Phoenix, Arizona. Anoa'i is best known for forming the tag team The Wild Samoans with his brother Sika and wrestling for promotions such as Canadian Stampede Wrestling in the 1970s. Since retiring, he has operated the World Xtreme Wrestling promotion and trained wrestlers at the Wild Samoan Training Center.
