Aki Aleong Biography
Aki Aleong (born December 19, 1934) is a Trinidad and Tobago–born American character actor, singer, and songwriter. He began his career in the entertainment industry in the late 1950s and has since appeared in various movies and TV shows. One of his notable roles was in the 1957 film No Down Payment, alongside Joanne Woodward and Jeffrey Hunter. Aleong is widely recognized for his portrayal of Senator Hidoshi in the first season of Babylon 5 and Mr. Chiang in the weekly series V: The Series. He also played Colonel Mitamura in Farewell to the King. In addition to his acting career, Aleong co-wrote and produced the doo-wop record Shombalor by Sheriff and the Ravels. He remains a respected figure in the entertainment industry.
