Akira Ishida

Akira Ishida (石田 彰) is a highly acclaimed Japanese voice actor. He has gained recognition for his exceptional performances in numerous anime series and video games. Notable roles include Saki Abdusha in You're Under Arrest, Makoto Kurumizawa in BOYS BE, Setsuna Aoki in Sakura Wars, and Athrun Zala in Gundam SEED. In 2004, he was chosen as the most popular voice actor in the Animage Anime Grand Prix. Additionally, he won the Best Supporting Character (male) award at the 1st Seiyu Awards in 2007. Akira Ishida is best known for portraying characters such as Cho Hakkai in Saiyuki, Kaworu Nagisa in Neon Genesis Evangelion, Kuja in Final Fantasy, Katsura Kotarou in Gin Tama, Zeref in Fairy Tail, and Gaara in Naruto.
