Alana Haim

Alana Mychal Haim, born December 15, 1991, is an American musician and actress. She is a member of the pop rock band Haim, alongside her older sisters Este and Danielle, playing piano, guitar, and vocals. In 2020, the band earned a Grammy Award for Album of the Year nomination for their third album, Women in Music Pt. III. Alana Haim achieved critical acclaim and received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Motion Picture Comedy or Musical nomination, as well as a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role nomination, for her role in Paul Thomas Anderson's film Licorice Pizza. Haim, hailing from a Jewish family, was born in Los Angeles to an Israeli-born retired professional soccer player father and a former elementary school art teacher mother from Philadelphia. She has two older sisters, Este and Danielle.
