Alessandro Antine Nivola is an American actor and producer. He was born on June 28, 1972, in Boston, Massachusetts. Nivola has received several nominations and awards for his work, including a Tony Award nomination, an Independent Spirit Award nomination, and a Screen Actors Guild Award. In addition to his acting career, Nivola runs King Bee Productions, which produced the HBO comedy Doll & Em and the Independent Spirit Award-nominated film To Dust. Nivola's parents are Virginia and Pietro Salvatore Nivola, with his father being a professor of political science. He has a younger brother named Adrian Nivola, who is a painter. Nivola attended Phillips Exeter Academy and Yale University.
