Alex Mallari Jr. (born 19 February 1988) is a Canadian actor of Filipino ancestry. He is known for his performances in the Syfy television series Dark Matter (2015–2017), Netflix feature film The Adam Project, and the Netflix series Ginny & Georgia (2021–present). Mallari was born in the Philippines and raised in Scarborough, a suburb of Toronto, Canada. Before pursuing acting, Mallari excelled in Taekwondo, achieving a third-degree black belt and becoming a two-time Junior Canadian National Taekwondo champion. However, an injury derailed his basketball dreams, leading him to discover his passion for acting. Mallari's breakout role was as Four in Dark Matter, where he showcased his talent from 2015 to 2017.
