Amanda Bearse

Amanda Bearse, born on August 9, 1958, is an American actress, comedian, and director. She gained recognition for her role in the 1985 supernatural horror film Fright Night, as well as for portraying Marcy Rhoades D'Arcy in the Fox sitcom Married... with Children from 1987 to 1997. In addition to her acting career, Bearse has directed over 90 episodes of various comedy series. Bearse was born in Winter Park, Florida, and later moved to Atlanta. She studied acting at New York City's Neighborhood Playhouse under Sanford Meisner. Bearse made her television debut in the ABC soap opera All My Children and appeared in films such as Protocol and Fraternity Vacation.
