Amirah Vann Biography
Amirah Charline Vann is an American actress and singer. Born in 1980 in Queens, New York, Vann has a mixed heritage, with an African-American father from Georgia and a Puerto Rican mother. After graduating from Far Rockaway High School in 1998, she went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Fordham University in 2002 and a Masters of Fine Arts degree from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2007. Vann's career began in Off-Broadway theater before transitioning to film and television. She gained recognition for her portrayal of attorney Tegan Price in the hit show How to Get Away with Murder. Vann has also appeared in films such as And So It Goes and Tracers, as well as the series Underground and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
