Ana Gasteyer

Ana Kristina Gasteyer is an American actress, comedian, and singer, born on May 4, 1967, in Washington, D.C. She gained recognition for her time as a cast member on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live from 1996 to 2002. Gasteyer has since appeared in various sitcoms such as ABC's Suburgatory, TBS's People of Earth, NBC's American Auto, and the film Mean Girls. She grew up on Capitol Hill, three blocks from the Capitol, and attended Sidwell Friends School. Gasteyer studied music at Northwestern University School of Communication, where she graduated in 1989. She honed her comedic skills as part of The Groundlings in Los Angeles and also had small roles on Seinfeld.
