André Leon Talley is an American fashion journalist, editor, and consultant. Born on October 16, 1949, in Washington, D.C., Talley is best known for his work as a contributing editor at Vogue magazine. He began his career at Andy Warhol's Interview magazine before joining Vogue in 1983. Talley served as Vogue's creative director from 1988 to 1995. He has made several television appearances, including as a judge on the reality competition show 'America's Next Top Model.' Talley has also been featured in documentaries like 'The September Issue' and 'The First Monday in May.' Throughout his career, he has been a prominent figure in the fashion industry, known for his signature caftans and larger-than-life personality.
