Angela Bruce

Angela Bruce (born May 6, 1951) is an English actress known for her work in television. Born in Leeds, West Riding of Yorkshire, Bruce was adopted at the age of three and raised in Craghead, County Durham. She made her screen debut in the 1973 film Man at the Top and gained recognition on the London stage as the second actress to portray Magenta in the original production of The Rocky Horror Show. Bruce has had regular or recurring roles in television series such as Angels (1975–1983), Coronation Street (1978), and Press Gang (1989–1990). She is also known for her appearances in sci-fi shows like Doctor Who, Red Dwarf, and Blake's 7.
