Annie Potts

Annie Potts, born on October 28, 1952, is an American actress known for her versatile performances. She gained recognition for her role in Corvette Summer (1978), which earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination. Potts went on to win a Genie Award for her role in Heartaches (1981). She appeared in several successful films including Ghostbusters (1984), Pretty in Pink (1986), Jumpin' Jack Flash (1986), and Ghostbusters II (1989). Potts also lent her voice to the beloved character Bo Peep in the Toy Story franchise. On television, she starred as Mary Jo Jackson Shively in Designing Women (1986–1993) and received a Primetime Emmy nomination for her role in Love & War (1993–1995). Potts's other notable TV appearances include Dangerous Minds (1996–1997) and Any Day Now (1998–2002).
