Anson Williams

Anson Williams, born Anson William Heimlich on September 25, 1949, is an American actor, singer, and director. He gained popularity for his role as Warren 'Potsie' Weber, a gullible and well-intentioned singer, on the television series Happy Days (1974–1984), which earned him a nomination for the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor. After his acting career, Williams transitioned into television directing, working on various shows including Melrose Place (1992–1999), Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990–2000), Sabrina the Teenage Witch (1996–2003), Lizzie McGuire (2001–2004), and The Secret Life of the American Teenager (2008–2013). Williams, who comes from a Jewish family, attended Burbank High School where he excelled in track and participated in school productions.
