Antoni Porowski is a Canadian television personality, cook, actor, model, and author. He is best known for his role as the food and wine expert on the Netflix series Queer Eye. Porowski was born on March 14, 1984, in Montreal, Quebec, to Polish parents. He grew up speaking Polish, English, and French. After moving to Glade Springs, West Virginia, at the age of twelve, he later returned to Montreal to complete his post-secondary education at Marianopolis College. Porowski graduated from Concordia University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and then moved to New York City to study acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre. He began his career by auditioning for various acting roles in the city.
