Armand Assante

Armand Assante is an American actor known for his roles in various movies and television shows. Born on October 4, 1949, in New York City, Assante was raised in Cornwall, New York. He is of Italian and Irish descent. In his career, Assante has portrayed notable characters such as mobster John Gotti in the 1996 HBO television film 'Gotti,' Odysseus in the 1997 mini-series adaptation of Homer's 'The Odyssey,' and Nietzsche in 'When Nietzsche Wept.' He also played the role of Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer in the 1982 film 'I, the Jury.'
