Asante Blackk Biography
Asante Blackk, born on October 20, 2001, is an American actor known for his roles in the miniseries When They See Us (2019) and the television series This Is Us. He started his acting career at Judith P. Hoyer Montessori School, where he played Mowgli in The Jungle Book. Blackk's professional career began with a performance in 'How I Learned to Be a Kid' at the Howard Theatre in Washington, which led to him getting an agent. Although he originally auditioned for the role of Korey Wise in When They See Us, he was cast as Kevin Richardson. This role earned him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination, making him one of the youngest nominees in the industry.
