Beth Broderick, born Elizabeth Alice Broderick on February 24, 1959, is an American actress known for her roles in television shows. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Zelda Spellman in the ABC/WB sitcom Sabrina the Teenage Witch from 1996 to 2003. Broderick also had recurring appearances as Diane Janssen in the ABC mystery drama Lost (2005–2008) and as Rose Twitchell in the CBS science fiction series Under the Dome (2013). Born in Falmouth, Kentucky, she grew up in Huntington Beach, California, and developed an early interest in theatre. Broderick graduated from high school at sixteen and attended the American Academy of Arts. She began her acting career in New York City. Beth Broderick has two sisters.
