Beth Malone

Beth Malone is an American actress and singer known for her work in Broadway, off-Broadway, and regional theatre. Born on January 2, 1969, in Auburn, Nebraska, Malone was raised in Castle Rock, Colorado. She comes from a musical background, with her mother being a professional country music singer. Malone first gained recognition for originating the role of Alison Bechdel in the musical Fun Home, earning a Tony Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical. She started her career at the age of 16, working at the Country Dinner Playhouse. Malone has a degree in musical theatre from the University of Northern Colorado and an MFA in Acting from UC Irvine.
