    Brian Urlacher Biography
    Brian Urlacher (born May 25, 1978) is a former American professional football player known for his 13-season career as a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) with the Chicago Bears. He played college football at New Mexico Lobos, where he earned recognition as a consensus All-American in 1999. Urlacher was drafted ninth overall by the Bears in the 2000 NFL Draft and quickly established himself as one of the league's most productive defensive players. Throughout his career, he was selected to eight Pro Bowls, named a first-team All-Pro four times, and won the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award in 2005. Post-retirement, Urlacher worked as an analyst for Fox Sports 1. He was also inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
