Bryony Hannah Biography
Bryony Hannah (born 1984) is a British actress best known for her role as Cynthia Miller in the BBC One series Call the Midwife. Born in Portsmouth, Hannah is the daughter of a teacher and a retired Royal Navy lieutenant-commander. After working at a pub in Southampton, she was accepted into RADA where she won a Laurence Olivier Bursary. Hannah received critical acclaim for her performance as Mary Tilford in The Children's Hour, earning her a Laurence Olivier Award for Best Performance in a Supporting Role. Alongside her notable television role, she has appeared in various stage productions including Earthquakes in London, Every Good Boy Deserves Favour, and War Horse. Hannah also had roles in Dead Boss and provided the voice of Padget in the CBeebies show Pando.
