Carla Hall

Carla Hall (born May 12, 1964) is an American chef, television personality, and former model. She gained recognition through her appearances on Bravo's cooking competition show, Top Chef, in its fifth and eighth seasons. In September 2011, Hall became a cohost on The Chew, a one-hour talk show focused on food, airing on ABC. Hall was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, and graduated from Hillsboro High School. She earned a degree in accounting from Howard University's Business School in 1986 and worked briefly as a Certified Public Accountant before transitioning to a career in modeling. Hall later shifted her focus to culinary arts and has since made a name for herself as a chef and TV personality.
