Cecily Legler Strong (born February 8, 1984) is an American actress and comedian. She is best known for her role as a cast member on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live from 2012 to 2022, making her the longest-tenured female cast member in the show's history. Strong is also a co-producer and stars in the Apple TV+ musical comedy series Schmigadoon! (2021–present). She has lent her voice to the animated series The Awesomes (2013–2015) and has appeared in supporting roles in films such as Ghostbusters, The Meddler, and The Female Brain. In 2015, she hosted the White House Correspondents' Dinner and released her memoir, This Will All Be Over Soon, in 2021. Strong was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series at the 72nd and 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards for her work on Saturday Night Live. She was born in Springfield, Illinois, and raised in Oak Park, a suburb of Chicago.
