Chad Stahelski (born September 20, 1968) is an American stuntman and film director. He is best known for directing the 2014 film John Wick and its three sequels. Stahelski has had a successful career in the film industry, working as a stuntman, stunt coordinator, and second unit director. He worked on the 1994 film The Crow, where he and fellow stuntman Jeff Cadiente served as stunt doubles for the late actor Brandon Lee. Stahelski co-founded the action design company 87Eleven in 1997. He has also worked as a stunt double and stunt coordinator for Keanu Reeves in The Matrix franchise. Stahelski's expertise in stunts and action sequences has made him a highly sought-after director in the action genre.
