Chiwetel Ejiofor

Chiwetel Umeadi Ejiofor (born 10 July 1977) is a British actor known for his versatile performances in film and television. He gained recognition for his role in the critically acclaimed film Amistad (1997), directed by Steven Spielberg. Ejiofor has since appeared in a variety of notable films, including Dirty Pretty Things (2002), Love Actually (2003), Kinky Boots (2005), Children of Men (2006), and 12 Years a Slave (2013), for which he received an Academy Award nomination. He has also made appearances in popular TV shows such as Serenity (2005) and Doctor Strange (2016). Ejiofor has been honored with several awards throughout his career, including a British Academy Film Award and a Laurence Olivier Award.
