Christine Bottomley (born 27 April 1979) is an English actress known for her roles in various television shows and films. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Zoey Wyatt in Shameless and Melanie in Early Doors. Bottomley also appeared as Susie Ward in Heartbeat and Kirsty in EastEnders. Born in Rochdale, she grew up above her family's chemist shop and attended local youth drama groups before graduating from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in 2001. Since then, she has appeared in popular television series such as Torchwood, Massive, Hope Springs, and Land Girls.
