Christopher Lee Biography
Sir Christopher Frank Carandini Lee (27 May 1922 – 7 June 2015) was an English actor and singer known for his portrayal of villains in various films. Lee gained fame for his iconic role as Count Dracula in the Hammer Horror films, playing the character a total of nine times. He also appeared as Francisco Scaramanga in the James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun (1974), Count Dooku in the Star Wars films (2002–2008), and Saruman in the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit film trilogies. Lee was knighted in 2009 and received various honorary awards for his contributions to drama and charity.
