    Cole Escola (born November 25, 1986) is an American comedian, actor, and singer. Known for their cabaret work, Escola has appeared in various television series including Jeffery & Cole Casserole (2009–2010), Difficult People (2015–2017), At Home with Amy Sedaris (2017–2020), Search Party (2016–2022), and Big Mouth (2022–present). Born and raised in Clatskanie, Oregon, Escola is of Finnish and Norwegian descent. They began their acting career in community theater and later starred in high school productions. After moving to New York City to study humanities at Marymount Manhattan College, Escola dropped out after one year and pursued their acting career.
