Colin Egglesfield is an American actor known for his roles in various movies and TV shows. He was born on February 9, 1973, in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Egglesfield is recognized for portraying Josh Madden in the soap opera All My Children and Auggie Kirkpatrick in the reboot of Melrose Place. He has also appeared in the film Something Borrowed as Dex and played the character of Evan Parks on The Client List. Egglesfield grew up in a Catholic household and attended Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights. He later attended Illinois Wesleyan University and the University of Iowa, where he studied pre-med. In his free time, he enjoys backpacking and has traveled extensively throughout Europe.
