Corey Burton is an American voice actor known for his work with The Walt Disney Company and other major franchises. He has provided the voices for iconic characters such as Captain Hook, Ludwig Von Drake, Shockwave, Brainiac, Count Dooku, Cad Bane, Zeus, and Hugo Strange. Burton began his career at the age of 17, showcasing his talent with an imitation performance of Hans Conried for Disney. He studied radio acting with Daws Butler and worked with many of the original Hollywood radio actors. Despite being initially unsure about pursuing voice work due to his shy demeanor and Autism Spectrum Disorder, Burton found inspiration in the world and character design of Disney's The Haunted Mansion attraction, which motivated him to continue his career.
