Corinne Bailey Rae

Corinne Jacqueline Bailey Rae (born February 26, 1979) is an English singer and songwriter. She gained popularity with her 2006 single 'Put Your Records On' and released her debut album, Corinne Bailey Rae, the same year. The album debuted at number one and made her the fourth female British artist to achieve this feat. In 2007, she received multiple Grammy and Brit Award nominations, winning two MOBO Awards. Bailey Rae's second album, The Sea, was released in 2010 and was nominated for the Mercury Prize. She has continued to make music and collaborate with other artists, receiving various accolades, including a Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance.
