Cote de Pablo, born María José de Pablo Fernández on November 12, 1979, is a Chilean-American actress and singer. At the age of 10, she moved to the United States, where she studied acting. De Pablo began her career co-hosting episodes of the Latin-American talk show Control with Carlos Ponce. She then attended Carnegie Mellon University to study music and theatre. De Pablo is best known for her role as Ziva David on the CBS television series NCIS, which she portrayed from 2005. She won an ALMA Award in 2011 for her performance. De Pablo has also showcased her singing talent, performing on a 2008 episode of NCIS and contributing to Roberto Pitre's Vivo En Vida CD.
