Curtis Michael Hennig, known by his ring name Mr. Perfect, was an American professional wrestler. Born on March 28, 1958, Hennig began his wrestling career in 1980 and achieved success in promotions including the American Wrestling Association (AWA), World Wrestling Federation (WWF; now WWE), World Championship Wrestling (WCW), and NWA Total Nonstop Action. He won multiple championships in Pacific Northwest Wrestling (PNW) and the AWA, including the AWA World Heavyweight Championship with a record-breaking 373-day reign. Hennig later moved to the WWF where he feuded with Hulk Hogan and won the WWF Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship twice, holding the title for the longest consecutive reign of the 1990s. Hennig was the son of wrestler Larry "The Axe" Hennig and the father of wrestler Curtis Axel.
