Dan Castellaneta

Daniel Louis Castellaneta is an American actor, comedian, and writer, born on October 29, 1957. He is best known for his iconic role as the voice of Homer Simpson on the animated series The Simpsons, where he also voices other beloved characters including Abraham 'Grampa' Simpson, Barney Gumble, Krusty the Clown, Sideshow Mel, Groundskeeper Willie, Mayor Quimby, and Hans Moleman. Castellaneta has lent his voice talents to numerous other programs such as Hey Arnold!, Futurama, Darkwing Duck, The Batman, Aladdin, and Taz-Mania. In addition to his voice work, he has appeared in the Christmas special Olive, the Other Reindeer and won an Annie Award for his portrayal of the Postman. Castellaneta is also a comedian, having released a comedy album titled I Am Not Homer, and has written and starred in a one-person show called Where Did Vincent van Gogh?.
