Dan Levy

Daniel Joseph Levy is a Canadian actor, writer, and producer. Born on August 9, 1983, in Toronto, Ontario, he began his career as a television host on MTV Canada. Levy gained international recognition for his role as David Rose in the CBC sitcom Schitt's Creek, which he co-created and co-starred in with his father, Eugene Levy. His work on the show earned him numerous accolades, including four Canadian Screen Awards and a Primetime Emmy Award. Levy is also known for being the first person to win a Primetime Emmy Award in all four major comedy acting categories in a single year. He attended high school at North Toronto Collegiate Institute and studied film production at York University and Ryerson University.
