Dave Franco

Dave Franco, born David John Franco on June 12, 1985, is an American actor and filmmaker. He gained recognition for his early roles in films like Superbad (2007) and Charlie St. Cloud (2010). Franco's breakout in the film industry came with a supporting role in the buddy comedy 21 Jump Street (2012). He has since appeared in various films including Fright Night (2011), Now You See Me (2013), Neighbors (2014), Nerve (2016), The Disaster Artist (2017), and Day Shift (2022). In 2020, he made his directorial debut with The Rental. Franco was born in Palo Alto, California, and is of Portuguese, Swedish, and Russian Jewish descent.
