Dave Grohl
Dave Grohl is an American musician known for his roles as the founder, lead singer, guitarist, and principal songwriter of the rock band Foo Fighters. Before forming Foo Fighters, he was the drummer for the highly influential rock band Nirvana from 1990 to 1994. Grohl joined Nirvana after his previous band Scream disbanded. Nirvana's second album, Nevermind, featuring Grohl on drums, became a worldwide success. Following the disbandment of Nirvana, Grohl started Foo Fighters as a solo project in 1994 and later formed a full band. In addition to Foo Fighters, Grohl is also the drummer and co-founder of rock supergroup Them Crooked Vultures and has collaborated with Queens of the Stone Age.
