David Smith

Davey Boy Smith, born David Smith on November 27, 1962, was an English professional wrestler widely recognized for his time with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). Smith gained fame under the ring names Davey Boy Smith and The British Bulldog. Throughout his career, he achieved numerous accolades and titles within the WWF, spanning from the 1980s to the 2000s. Although he never held a world championship, Smith headlined multiple pay-per-view events for both the WWF and WCW, where he contended for the top titles. A notable victory came in 1992 at SummerSlam, where he defeated Bret Hart to win the WWF Intercontinental Championship at London's Wembley Stadium. Additionally, Smith holds the record for being the inaugural and longest-reigning WWF European Champion.
