David Arquette (born September 8, 1971) is an American actor and former professional wrestler. He gained recognition for his role as Dewey Riley in the Scream film franchise, winning a Teen Choice Award and two Blockbuster Entertainment Awards. Arquette also had a notable stint in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 2000, where he won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Despite criticism, he later received praise for his work on the independent wrestling circuit. Arquette comes from the famous Arquette acting family and has appeared in several Hollywood films, including Wild Bill, Never Been Kissed, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, See Spot Run, and Eight Legged Freaks.
