David Horovitch

David Horovitch (born August 11, 1945) is an English actor known for his roles in various popular British TV shows. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Inspector Slack in Miss Marple and recently appeared as Grand Maester Mellos in the Game of Thrones prequel series House of the Dragon. Horovitch was born in London and attended St Christopher School before studying at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. Although not raised in the Jewish faith, Horovitch has played several Jewish roles, which sparked his interest in learning about the religion. Throughout his 40-year career, he has appeared in shows like Thriller, The New Avengers, Prince Regent, Piece of Cake, and many more.
