Deborah Olayinka Ayorinde is a British-Nigerian actress raised in the United States. Born on 13 August 1987 in London, England, to Nigerian parents, Ayorinde spent her childhood in London before moving to San Jose, California at the age of 8. She graduated with honors from Howard University's John H. Johnson School of Communications in May 2009, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production. Ayorinde's notable works include her role in the Amazon Prime horror series Them (2021) and her appearances in Netflix's Luke Cage and the comedy film Girls Trip. She also starred in the biopic Harriet alongside Cynthia Erivo and Janelle Monáe.
