Derek Mio

Derek Mio, born in 1982, is an American actor known for his work in film and television. He attended USC School of Cinematic Arts and is a fourth generation Japanese American. Mio was born in Huntington Beach, California and attended Huntington Beach High School before going on to study at the University of Southern California. He has portrayed various characters throughout his career, including Wade Matthews in the ABC Family series Greek and Glenn in the movie G.B.F. He also had roles in NBC's Day One and the Geek & Sundry web-series Spooked. In 2019, Mio played the lead role of Chester Naka in the second season of the AMC series The Terror, set during World War II.
