Dolly Parton

Dolly Rebecca Parton (born January 19, 1946) is an American singer-songwriter, musician, actress, philanthropist, and businesswoman. She is known for her successful career in country music, which began in 1967 with her album debut, Hello, I'm Dolly. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Parton achieved chart-topping success and sold millions of records. While her albums in the 1990s didn't perform as well, she made a comeback in the new millennium. Parton has released albums on various labels, including her own, Dolly Records. With over fifty years in the industry, she is considered a country music legend and has sold over 100 million records worldwide, making her one of the best-selling female artists of all time.
