Donna Grantis is a Canadian guitarist known for her work with Prince & 3rdeyegirl. She played on their debut album, Plectrumelectrum, which reached #1 on the Billboard Rock chart in 2014. Grantis has been a member of Prince's funk supergroup, The New Power Generation, since 2013. She released her debut album, Diamonds & Dynamite, on March 22, 2019, featuring two songs with Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready. The album and lead track reached #1 on iTunes Canada for top jazz album and top jazz song. Grantis grew up in Mississauga, Ontario, and started playing acoustic guitar at thirteen.
