Donald Edmond Wahlberg Jr., born on August 17, 1969, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, and producer. He is best known as a founding member of the boy band New Kids on the Block. Wahlberg has appeared in various films including the Saw series, Zookeeper, Dreamcatcher, The Sixth Sense, Righteous Kill, and Ransom. He also played the role of Carwood Lipton in the World War II miniseries Band of Brothers. From 2002 to 2003, he starred in the crime drama Boomtown. Since 2010, he has portrayed Danny Reagan in the drama series Blue Bloods and has been an executive producer of the reality television show Boston's Finest since 2014. Wahlberg has also produced and starred in various TV shows including Rock This Boat, Donnie Loves Jenny, Return of the Mac, and Wahlburgers. He is the brother of actor Mark Wahlberg.
