Drew Christopher Brees (born January 15, 1979) is an American former football quarterback known for his 20-season career in the National Football League (NFL). He played for the New Orleans Saints for the majority of his career and holds several NFL records, including career passing yards, touchdown passes, pass attempts, completions, and completion percentage. Brees also broke the long-standing record for consecutive games with a touchdown pass, previously held by Johnny Unitas. Prior to his professional career, Brees played college football at Purdue University, where he set records for completions, attempts, and yards in the Big Ten Conference. Brees is widely regarded as one of the greatest quarterbacks in American football history.
