Dylan McDermott (born Mark Anthony McDermott; October 26, 1961) is an American actor. He gained recognition for his role as lawyer and law firm head Bobby Donnell on the legal drama series The Practice, earning him a Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Drama. McDermott is also known for his appearances in the FX horror anthology series American Horror Story, starring in four seasons including Murder House, Asylum, Apocalypse, and 1984. He has starred in Law & Order: Organized Crime, Dark Blue, Hostages, Stalker, and the 1994 remake of Miracle on 34th Street. McDermott joined FBI: Most Wanted as the new lead in 2022.
