Eddie Eyre Biography
Eddie Eyre (born Eddie Wilson on 24 July 1988) is a British actor known for his role as Josh Hemmings in the BBC soap opera EastEnders. He attended Abingdon School and received training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Eyre's stage career began at The Old Vic, where he participated in the 24 Hour Plays alongside notable actors such as Lily Cole and Catherine Tate. He has also appeared in other stage productions including The Seagull and Mansfield Park. Eyre played the character Gerold Hightower in the sixth season of the HBO series Game of Thrones. He is recognized for his role in the long-running play, The Mousetrap, where he portrayed Detective Sergeant Trotter in the West End production.
