Elisabeth Judson Shue is an American actress born on October 6, 1963, in Wilmington, Delaware. She gained prominence for her roles in various films, including The Karate Kid (1984), Adventures in Babysitting (1987), Cocktail (1988), Back to the Future Part II (1989), and Back to the Future Part III (1990). Shue also earned critical acclaim for her performance in Leaving Las Vegas (1995), which garnered her nominations for the Academy Award for Best Actress, BAFTA, Golden Globe, and SAG Award. On television, she starred in the CBS series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation from 2012 to 2015 and currently appears in the Netflix dramedy series On the Verge. Shue reprised her role from The Karate Kid in the third season of Cobra Kai and portrayed Madelyn Stillwell in The Boys and The Boys Presents: Diabolical.
